Letterpress printing house "Uoksio grafikos dirbtuves" based in Vilnius, situated in U┼żupis arts incubator started its activities in the beggining of year 2016. We are young and full of ideas, therefore our main objectives are to cultivate and promote the exceptional quality analog print media as well as search for interesting approaches and apply them to visual graphic solutions. In production we use of oil paints and high quality paper. We can offer not only the best graphic solution, but also implement it to the final product. 10 years of experience in the printing and graphics fields allows us our to guarantee proven quality of products and offer friendly service prices.

When did you start letterpress printing?: 
2016
What do you like best about letterpress printing?: 
Letterpress prints create a better, warm feeling compare to other printing alternatives.
What inspires you?: 
We get inspired by other great studios who make a brilliant works. Good example of it is Badcass letterpress studio situated in France.
Which press(es), ink & paper do you usually use?: 
In production we use of oil paints and high quality various thickness paper. We own two presses: Heidelberg Windmill and manual Triumpf press.
How would you describe your artwork?: 
In order to cover the first phase of the process, we spent time brainstorming and developing the main idea focused on current print, so it's always well considered idea wise.
What kind of products do you create?: 
Cards, invitations, posters, coasters

Do you offer workshops? If yes, what kind of?: 
Yes, we offer one day length letterpess workshop, where get to know the basic principles of printing process, as well as introduce to some history about graphic styles and printing presses. Eventually, every participant has a chance to design unique poster using physical wooden letters, oil paints, which they care out by themselves.
Is there anything you wished you had known as a beginner?: 
We wish good quality paper would cost a little less.
