About:
Artisan print the old fashioned way with hand mixed ink, vintage letterpress machines and luxurious papers. The Smallprint Company combines their love of typography and design with commercial experience to explore the world of traditional letterpress print. We use antique presses, original type, beautiful papers and hand mixed inks to create luxurious commissions and paper goods. You’ll find Chris, the printer, equally happy hand-setting text in the traditional way or creating digital artwork, to print on our vintage presses. Letterpress requires patience and dedication to the task with the results speaking for themselves. We create wedding, personal and business stationery, packaging, posters, cards and gift items collaborating most often with private clients and small boutique businesses alike. Letterpress fans can also enjoy one of our regular workshops, watch a letterpress demonstration or meet us at events selling our wares. We love letterpress!
