When did you start letterpress printing?:
What do you like best about letterpress printing?:
I love creating, setting type and printing on various papers with type, copper blocks, and half tones that are some time over a 100 years old. When I feel the type I can feel the history of the craft, it just inspires me.
What inspires you?:
I am most inspired by nature, politics, and poems. I have butterflies so I love in incorporate them into my work when possible.
Which press(es), ink & paper do you usually use?:
I have 2 presses, a Vandercook 4 and and 8X12 C %P.
I use mostly cotton papers and a combination of rubber, oil, and etching inks.
How would you describe your artwork?:
I have done Linoleum blocks, etching, most of it is nature themed.
What kind of products do you create?:
I create calendars, posters, and printed poetry.
